Beyond operating roles, Matthias has gained hands-on experience in capital raising, venture financing, M&A processes and transaction environments. He has supported venture capital and venture debt financing, including Crobo's financing from a venture fund and a UK-based debt investor.

Over the years, he has raised and supported financing processes for his own companies and ventures, including seed financing, customer financing structures and SAFE / convertible-style rounds.

Within PIA Group, he was deeply involved in buy-side M&A processes, due diligence, contract negotiations and merger & acquisition discussions. His transaction exposure includes collaboration with internal leadership teams, external advisors, auditing firms and due diligence partners such as KPMG, EY and others.
